Puri Jagannath on desamuduru and charan

--> Expectations on Desamuduru are sky-high. How did you gear up to meet this?

Puri : Desamuduru is different Film. I know the movie carries heavy expectations and I worked hard to live upto it. As of the storyline, Allu Arjun plays the role of a reporter Bala Govind who falls in love with a sanyasini played by Hansika. It's basically a love story, but has a lot of action in it.

--> The hero's characterization are the highlights of your movie. What kind of a person is Bala Govind.

Puri :He is an energetic, handsome and a smart guy. He is a person who is ready to face any kind of situation he is put in.

--> Allu Arjun has more of soft image all this while. How do you plan to show him.

Puri :Haha. Now, he looks like an action hero. I am sure he looks the best in his career till now. He is a very dedicated guy. He worked nearly 3 months to his physique. Also, he put in some efforts to get a new hairstyle and look for this film. I got calls from other heroes on the industry, that Arjun is looking very macho in the movie. Fans and the movie's buyers also called me and said he looks more different and even more stylish in this film. I am happy to work with him.

--> Well, then what about Hansika. You were raving about her in your earlier interviews.

Puri :She is a national award winning child artiste. As of acting skills, she has already proved herself. She did very well in our movie and is getting big offers even before the release of this film itself. Her role in the movie will talk for her.

--> You are working with Chakri again after a gap. How is the movie's audio?

Puri :Yes, we are working after a gap and he is with vengeance now to score a superhit album. This audio too will become an instant chart topper. There is a melody and five peppy numbers in the album. Surely the music lovers and movie goers will like it. We are planning to release audio in December, while the movie itself will release for Pongal on the 12th of January 2007.

--> And, finally what's the progress on Charan's film?

Puri :The scripting work of the film is almost over. I have already started my work on it. It will go to floors a month after Desamuduru's release, probably in February.
